The event will be hosted by the Korean Printers Association at the KINTEX Exhibition Center II in Goyang-si.

The global printing and graphic communications community will convene in Seoul from 18–21 August 2026 for the World Print & Communication Forum’s (WPCF) 2026 Congress, taking place alongside K-PRINT WEEK.

Held under the theme “The Future of Printing Culture in the Age of AI,” the congress will bring together representatives of printing associations, industry leaders, technology providers, and experts from more than 40 countries. Delegations from major international federations, including Intergraf, FAPGA, and Conlatingraf, are expected to attend, making WPCF 2026 one of the most significant global gatherings of the sector.

The congress programme will combine high-level conference discussions, visits to the K-PRINT WEEK exhibition, technical site tours, and cultural experiences that highlight Korea’s technological leadership and heritage.

The programme will begin on 18 August with arrivals in Seoul and a WPCF Board Meeting and Welcome Dinner for members. On 19 August, participants will attend the opening of K-PRINT WEEK, explore the exhibition, and take part in the main congress sessions focusing on artificial intelligence and the transformation of the printing industry, followed by the Grand Opening Ceremony.

On 20 August, delegates will visit leading Korean printing facilities to observe advanced automation, AI-driven quality control, and sustainable production systems. Participants will also have the opportunity to join a guided tour of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) or visit the Samsung Innovation Museum. The congress will conclude with a Closing Ceremony and Farewell Dinner. Departures or individual exploration of Seoul will take place on 21 August.

As Korea’s premier printing exhibition, K-PRINT WEEK showcases cutting-edge technologies including digital printing solutions, smart automation, and sustainable production systems. Live demonstrations and direct interaction with global suppliers will offer valuable insights into emerging industry developments.

The conference programme of the World Print & Communication Forum will explore key strategic topics shaping the future of the sector, including:

  • Artificial intelligence integration in printing operations
  • Digital transformation strategies for print businesses
  • Sustainability and circular economy models
  • Future market developments and evolving consumer demands

WPCF 2026 will provide an important platform for international dialogue and collaboration, bringing together industry leadership from Europe, Asia, North and Latin America, and other regions. The congress aims to strengthen cooperation across the global printing value chain and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

In addition to the professional programme, participants will experience Korea’s dynamic culture, from traditional cuisine and heritage sites to contemporary cultural experiences. Seoul’s modern infrastructure, technological leadership, and reputation as one of the world’s safest major cities make it an ideal destination for international delegates.

The World Print & Communication Forum’s 2026 Congress will serve as a key meeting point for shaping the future of print and communication in an AI-driven era.
