
In the morning of 13th August 2025, the Asia Print Interactive Meeting was held in the Meeting Room of MITEC in the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur. Coinciding with the Printing Exhibition by Kaizer, the meeting attracted printing industry representatives from China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Laos, who gathered to discuss development trends and cooperation opportunities in Asian printing industry.
At the beginning of the meeting, Yang Bin, President of Asia Print and Vice Chairman of Printing and Printing Equipment Industries of China, delivered a warm welcome speech, extending sincere greetings to all attending representatives. In his speech, Yang Bin reviewed the grand occasion of China Print 2025 (Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition), introduced the development status of Chinaese printing industry, and shared the preparation in progress for the 6th China International Printing Technology Exhibition (Guangdong) (Print China 2027 scheduled to be held in the industrial city of Dongguan), providing valuable information for representatives from various countries to understand Chinaese printing market and industry events. Subsequently, the representative from Malaysia, as the host, delivered a welcome speech, expressing support for the meeting being held locally and expectations for future cooperation in Asian printing industry.
In the meeting agenda, participants first approved the minutes of the previous meeting to ensure the continuity of various decisions taken in the last meeting held at Beijing. Next, in the session of market and exhibition briefings, each member unit actively shared the latest developments of their respective national printing markets, industry trends, and information about their own printing exhibitions, with each member’s speech limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. A few members also submitted detailed reports to the secretariat in advance, providing rich data and information support for the discussions, covering areas such as new technology applications, changes in market demand, and innovative exhibition models.
In the “Other Matters” session, after in-depth discussions, all representatives voted to approve the Laos Sign Association’s membership into the Asia Print Exhibition Dederation, injecting new vitality into the federation and further expanding the scope of cooperation in Asian printing industry.
At the end of the meeting, after full discussions, it was decided that the next Asia Print Interactive Meeting would be held in Indonesia in October 2025 during the All Print Exhibition.
The successful holding of this Asia Print interactive meeting has built a high-quality platform for in-depth exchanges and cooperation among Asian printing industries, promoted information sharing and resource integration, and played a positive role in enhancing the competitiveness of Asian printing industry in the global market. As the industry continues to develop, Asia Print will continue to play an important role in facilitating closer cooperation and common development among member states in the printing field.
