Organising Committee to present latest plans, exhibition sectors and international promotion strategy ahead of the April 2027 show
The PRINT CHINA 2027 Organising Committee will hold an international press conference on October 13, 2026, in Shanghai to provide an update on preparations for the forthcoming exhibition.

The press conference will take place from 14:00 to 15:00 at the Plum Blossom Room & Orchid Room, Second Floor, Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. The Organising Committee is expected to present details of the exhibition’s overall layout, key industry themes, major product categories, international promotion plans and supporting programmes. The event will also provide industry media and representatives with an opportunity to obtain further information about the April 2027 exhibition.
PRINT CHINA 2027 prepares for April opening
PRINT CHINA 2027 is scheduled to take place from April 12 to 16, 2027, at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre in Dongguan. The exhibition is projected to cover approximately 150,000 sq m, with more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 200,000 trade visitors expected to attend. The organisers say preparations have progressed steadily since the project was formally launched, with a growing number of domestic and international companies confirming their participation.
Applications exceed available exhibition space
According to the Organising Committee, nearly 900 companies have submitted online exhibition applications, with the total area applied for exceeding 160,000 sq m. The first-floor exhibition halls are reported to be largely sold out, while booth allocation is currently progressing for the themed sectors located on the second floor.
These sectors include general printing and packaging, printing consumables, innovative materials, screen printing and industrial inkjet printing. The level of applications, according to the organisers, reflects continued interest from equipment manufacturers, technology providers and materials companies in participating in the exhibition.
Focus on international participation
The October press conference comes as PRINT CHINA 2027 continues its international promotion programme. In recent months, the Organising Committee has been engaging with printing and packaging associations, exhibition organisers and industry representatives across Asia, Europe and other regions. The objective is to encourage professional visitors and industry delegations from outside China to attend the Dongguan exhibition.

International participation is expected to be an important component of PRINT CHINA 2027, particularly as the exhibition seeks to connect Chinese equipment and technology suppliers with overseas printers, converters, publishers, packaging companies and purchasing organisations.
The October 13 press conference will therefore provide an opportunity for international industry representatives and media to gain a more detailed understanding of the exhibition’s plans and its overseas participation programme.
With exhibition applications already exceeding the projected floor capacity and preparations continuing across multiple technology sectors, PRINT CHINA 2027 is now entering an important phase of its build-up to April 2027.
