The Indian Printing, Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) further strengthened India’s position on the global printing and packaging map through its participation at IPMEX Malaysia 2026, held from 12–15 August 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

Representing IPAMA, Mr. K.S. Maan, President, IPAMA, and Mr. Iqbal Singh, General Secretary, IPAMA, attended the prestigious international exhibition with the objective of promoting the 17th PRINTPACK INDIA, scheduled to be held from 30 January to 3 February 2027 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, India.

During their visit, the IPAMA delegation held extensive interactions with members of Asia Print as well as leading exhibitors and industry stakeholders participating in IPMEX Malaysia. As a Founder Member of Asia Print, IPAMA continues to play an active role in strengthening cooperation and creating business opportunities among printing and packaging industries across Asia.

Asia Print brings together leading industry associations and stakeholders from Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Dubai, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, providing an important platform for regional collaboration, knowledge exchange and business development.

Speaking to members of Asia Print, Mr. K.S. Maan, President, IPAMA, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Indian Printing and Packaging Industry, highlighting India’s rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities, technological advancements, market potential and the growing opportunities available to international companies in the Indian market.

He also extended a warm invitation to all the Asia Print members, exhibitors and industry professionals to participate in PRINTPACK INDIA 2027, one of Asia’s leading exhibitions for printing, packaging and allied machinery and technologies.

Mr. Maan emphasised that PRINTPACK INDIA provides an ideal platform for international manufacturers, technology providers, distributors, printers, packaging professionals and buyers to explore the vast potential of the Indian market, develop strategic partnerships and establish long-term business relationships.

The international outreach received an encouraging response, with Malaysia assuring IPAMA of its support for bringing a group delegation to PRINTPACK INDIA 2027. The proposed Malaysian participation is expected to further strengthen bilateral business relations and create new avenues for cooperation between Indian and Malaysian printing and packaging industries.

Mr. Iqbal Singh, General Secretary, IPAMA, also interacted with the exhibitors and industry representatives, encouraging them to take advantage of PRINTPACK INDIA 2027 as a gateway to one of the world’s fastest-growing printing and packaging markets.

The participation at IPMEX Malaysia 2026 reflects IPAMA’s continued commitment to international engagement, knowledge sharing and promoting Indian manufacturing excellence worldwide.
